OLE will maintain
a web site for members to use at
www.bspsisters.ca/ole
Program/Conversation
OLE will strive
for a program and conversation each month in which members participate.
Each member is
required to participate in one of these forums at least once every three
months as stated in the bylaws.
Biographies
New Members shall
supply a biography and picture if desired on a form
to be provided
for inclusion in the yearbook.
Current members
will expected to verify their biographies every other year.
Courtesies in Time of Death
In the event of
death in the immediate family of a member, a snail mail card shall be sent.
In the event
of a death of an active member, a $25 charitable donation in memory of
the member shall be made.
This amount will
be taken from the miscellaneous category in the budget.
Alternate Contact
Each member shall
be asked to provide an alternate contact to be used in the event
a member cannot
be contact through normal channels.
Amendments
Amendments to these Standing Rules may be made by a simple majority vote of the Executive Board
Email Etiquette Policy
Reply directly to a sisters's
personal email address who posts an item to server unless your response
would be of interest to others on the list.
Unless your message is sorority
business use the "Subject" line and put words like
Joke, Funny Story, Sad Story,
etc. to describe any other types of messages you are sending.
If you would like ato send and
receive jokes you may subscribe to our joke list
(olejokers@yahoogroups.com)
by contacting Kathy L.
Don not send any type of chain
letters, questionnaires or any messages with attachments through the server.
Notify everyone via the server
address when you are going to be away from you computer for any extended
time period.
